These are made of Tempered or Toughened Glass to resist breakage, chipping and scratching. Tempered glass is designed to break into smaller pieces that are designed not to be sharp. Tempered glass also makes the product thermal-shock resistant.
These can be safely used in the microwave and dishwasher. Soda Lime glass is non porous and will not absorb stains or odours. These are clear and durable and are of high quality glass.
